MENTAL HEALTH SUPERVISOR
Job Profile:
MSF Spain is looking for a skilled Medical Interpreter in Hebron to help us with verbal interpretation, in person or remotely, during daily medical activities (medical round, consultations, interviews, meetings, etc.) and written translations, from the mission language to local language(s) or vice versa, in order to ensure accurate, respectful, fluent and confidential communication between medical staff and local population.

Accountabilities:
- To supervise the technical performance of mental health professionals to ensure the appropriate and quality implementation of activities according to the needs of our target population (victims of violence in Hebron governorate) and the care of patients according to MSF protocols and standards, adapting the type of interventions to the fluctuating context in order to provide the most appropriate support to clients with psychosocial needs.
- Coordinates psychosocial activities with the rest of MSF professionals, following and creating efficient referral pathways registering all the pertinent information to accomplish the objectives of improvement for MH patients.
- Coordinates with other relevant actors and liaises with the local counterparts (like MoH, WHO, ICRC and NGO) on mental health matters, including referral services.
- To plan and supervise the implementation of psychologists activities; including counseling sessions, group interventions and trainings performed by the psychologists.
- To plan and supervise the implementation of psychiatric consultations, coordinating with the medical team and reporting timely to PMR, MEDCO and MH referents.
- To coordinate the integral intervention with other MH professionals such as CE’s and CMHW’s, in order to provide all levels of care by MH service and doing a proper identification of needs to assign the professional to each case and situation.
- To understand and monitor data collection tools used in the project and data registration by all the team, in terms of ensuring the files are being filled in good quality.
- To lead the referrals among MH team and other professionals, internal and external to MSF
- To oversee HR procedures, annual leaves, recruitment, PMS, of the team under direct supervision
- To provide psychotherapy with (limited) number of cases to better understand the context.

Education
Degree in psychosocial or related field essential.
Experience
Psycho-social counselling experience of at least 4 years.
Languages
Essential mission languages: Arabic and English.
